Hello, my name is Philip Lyon and I am the pastor of the Knightdale Church of God. On behalf of the church and myself, we welcome you. God has been doing some amazing things in the past few months and I am expecting him for even greater things in the coming years.
The Knightdale Church of God is a Spirit-filled and Spirit-led church proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. God called my wife, Mary Sue, and I to the Knightdale Church of God a little over a year ago. At that time, the church attendance was only nine people. With God’s divine anointing, we have seen many converted and baptized and are now averaging sixty for morning worship!
God has put in my Spirit that he is going to touch Knightdale and America through this ministry. God has put a vision of a Christian school and church located here in the Knightdale area that would touch hundreds, perhaps even thousands.
As for my own personal testimony, I was saved at the age of 6 and baptized at 8. God called me to preach when I was 15 years old. I have never looked back. In 2003, I graduated from Lee University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Ministries and History. During my final semester at Lee University, God blessed me with my beautiful wife, Mary Sue. Nineteen months later we had a precious baby girl named Mckenzie Leigh Lyon. In May of 2005, I received my Exhorter’s License in the Church of God.
God has blessed my life so much and He wants to bless yours as well. I invite you to come and join us for morning worship. I know you will not be disappointed.
